I stopped a lady in Publix because I loved her hat. She raved about how great these hats have been for her while playing tennis. I am so glad I asked her about her hat because this is my new favorite. I have so many different hats that I wear to protect my face... some are bulky, not easy to travel with or are heavy. This hat is very light and lays flat so easy to pack for travel. I ran 3.5 miles while wearing this hat with no issues. I plan to order more colors...the lady I stopped had a light pink...I am hoping I can find that color.

I have a BIG collection of hats to protect my face from the sun. These are BY FAR my favorite. They are not 100% cotton, but a blend of cotton and polyester, but the fabric feels more like the L.L.Bean swim pants I have. Quick drying, breathable, and so lightweight! The are light as a feather and feel like nothing on your head. Today I wore it on a very windy bike ride along a lake. It stayed on my head perfectly, and allowed the heat to dissipate through the vented top portion. They even arrived in a very nice zippered bag that I can use again when packing for trips. I can tell they will travel well -- I crumpled it up in my hand and it popped right back into shape. It feels like there are stays in the brim. The velcro adjustment works well and easily. I am going to order them in two more colors.

Very light weight. Super comfortable. I don't plan on taking the top off to convert to a visor- sun sensitive here. The color is great too. It is very light, so you'll need to hold your hat in strong breezy conditions. I really like the hat, it goes with my outfits nicely, and is a stylish upgrade from baseball caps when I'm at the playground or on a field trip. Lastly, the coverage over my face and ears is excellent! Great value for the price!!

I’m happy with this hat. I bought it after having a chemical peel on my face and I couldn’t be exposed to the sun. It’s not good for windy conditions but it’s lightweight and fits in my purse and suitcase. I actually bought two and one of them is tighter than the other. A little odd considering they’re supposed to the same size. I don’t have big hair so they bought fit. I don’t know how many visors I’ve purchased over the years but they always seem to disappear after a month or two. It’s always best to buy two or more.

This hat is attractive and practical for sun protection and comfort. I ordered white. The visor section is substantial without being bothersome. There is an adjustable band with a cute tie in the back. The visor can be worn separately or with the complete hat, as the visor can be detached from the top section with a zipper. The fabric is soft and the visor a bit crinkly, but I don't see that as a drawback. Overall a wonderful product

I have never enjoyed wearing baseball caps or hats in general but I've recently taken to wearing newsboy type hats to keep the sun off my eyes while driving or spending time outside. The problem is those hats are too hot for deep South summers and straw hats can be cumbersome and fragile. I love this hat way more than I expected! It keeps my eyes and face shielded from the sun and my head actually feels cooler in direct sun when I'm wearing it. I love that there's an opening in the back for a ponytail or bun when wearing as a hat and the versatility of wearing as a visor. I even wear it in the pool while smugly listening to everyone else complain about the sun beating down on their forehead! It does restrict your peripheral vision somewhat, not a big deal for my purposes but might be problematic for a more active person( joggers, athletes, etc.). I wear it on casual bike rides in my rural area but would not recommend for cycling in traffic.

I will be the first to tell you that you will not win any points for fashion while wearing this hat, but it provides wonderful UV protection. I wear this hat while lounging in my pool at home and when traveling to sunny vacation spots. Because the brim doesn’t go around the back, you can comfortably lie back in a lounge chair to read or relax on a floating mattress and the hat will stay in place. The adjustable, Velcro band is really comfortable and can easily be worn with large sunglasses. It dries out quickly when it gets wet and it took a couple of years for my black version to fade. I’m now buying my second one and am also purchasing a couple of extras for guests to use when hanging out at our pool.

I literally expected that I would have to return this based on the size of my petite head. I have the face of a kid, i.e. my glasses often are from the kid's frame selections! However, to my surprise, this adjusted perfectly to fit snug on my head without messing up the bow in the back. I like that it covers > 180 degrees, protecting my ears and face. No issue with it blocking my view. I will say that some might not care for the lightweight, crepe-type construction, but look at what this costs. You can hear the brim crinkle when handling it and reminds me of those almost-disposable crinkle hats, but it is actually much better than those. I am going to get a few more of these, as I want to keep the lighter colored ones clean, and get darker ones for yard work. Glad I took a chance on this.

I have been through many sunhats, but this is hands down my favorite so far! It's very light, doesn't obscure my line of sight, and easily fits around my long hair/ponytail. The only 2 things I would add would be: (1) to add a small chinstrap to avoid losing it on a windy day or if you're out on a lake/ocean, I would worry about it blowing off. (2) change the velcro so it is covered when closed so it doesn't snag on my hair.

It's a really cute lightweight little hat style sun visor with a bow in the back that is really cute on and definitely protects the face and eyes from the Sun however that being said .I would recommend .

This is way better than I had expected, better in person than even the pictures. I was looking for something to protect my face from sunburn during my afternoon power walks to get my step count up. This fabric is really nice and way more lightweight than I expected. Perfect pack-able hat if you are traveling which is not what I originally got it for but will be using it for trips as well as my walks now :) Its very cute in beige too!

I have quite light skin and get dark pigmentation very easily with the sun so a regular cap doesn't help much when the sun is very bright. Sometimes,
I also prefer to avoid 'hat hair' so this hat is perfect! You can unzip or re-attach the top as needed to switch it from hat to visor. The size adjusts with a velcro strip in the back. A few of my friends tried it on and it fit them perfectly.

I love this sun hat! It is pretty then, it can gives much protection from the sun , I got it because of the UV protection. I really really like it and especially like the zip out part. Would recommend this product

I am SO happy I got this hat. I love clothes with sun protection for my outdoor adventures and I love that I can zip the top off to convert this adorable hat into a visor depending on what I’m doing. I’ve used it for the beach, hiking, camping, kayaking, general daytime summer outings, etc. It’s a versatile way to look cute and protect my face from sun damage and future wrinkles.

This hat works so well for shielding the face and head from the sun, that I have ordered another one. Its adjustable band allows for a perfect fit. The wide brim completely shades the face and eyes. The back fits a ponytail and has a cute bow. The hat stays on firmly during windy days.
A unique feature is the zip-off top part which transforms the hat into a visor.
The hat does not protect the back of the neck, and the velcro closure can snag hair. I wear a protective opaque hair bonnet under it to protect my ponytail from the snaggingand the sun.

This is super light weight and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The visor brim is nicely angled and juts out far enough to protect your entire face and has tiny wires in the grooves which keeps it's shape beautifully. I have thick hair and have trouble finding hats that are large enough to fit my head.

Love this hat. I have a very small head and I like the fact it has a tie bow in the back so that you can tighten or loosen to fit your head. I would highly recommend this hat to anyone. Size is no object.

I bought this hat to use at my pool, I wanted one that covered my whole head and you can unzip the top of it to make a visor. The brim is big in the front and tapers down to the back so it is easy to lay down on a float with it on.

I have been looking for a sun hat that I would actually wear for years. I’ve bought straw hats, but they seemed too dressy or just wrong with the casual and atheleisure clothes I wear all summer. I bought a cotton hat that was cute and went with my clothes, but it was hot and too tight so it flattened my hair. I bought a visor that rolls up small to be kept in the car, but I hated the big bow on the back, plus it still allowed my fair scalp to be burned (and hair color faded) on days when I wore my hair down.
I wear my hair in a high messy bun 80% of the time in the summer, so even if I liked a hat I wouldn’t wear it on those days.
This hat addresses all of those issues: it’s cool, works with my wardrobe, AND gives me the option to wear it weather my hair is up or down. Also, it’s adjustable for a perfect fit and it is loose enough at the crown not too flatten my hair.

It’s definitely better coverage than your average ball cap. I use a lot of high-end skincare products and receive hydrafacials and other treatments to improve and maintain my skin, thus, I have to avoid the sun in order to keep making progress, so I was really hoping this hat would fully provide additional sun protection, it does. The quality is nice and it is the best option for me. You should absolutely continue to wear your spf and apply regularly, because you will have some sun exposure when wearing this hat.
